Terms & Conditions
You will no longer be required to sign these as when you make a booking you have automatically agreed to these.
These terms & conditions are for the boarding of your dog/s here with us at Crabbs Green Farm Boarding Kennels. These are not printable or sign able and we no longer include these when we send out booking forms. You will automatically agree to these terms and conditions when making a booking with us.
Please refer back to these every so often as these could be updated at any time.
Any person entering the kennels do so at their own risk and only to be entered when accompanied by a member of staff. If you are accompanied by children you must keep them under control at all times.
You are NOT permitted to enter the kennels without a member of staff.
We ask you to please report to reception upon your arrival. We ask you to please keep your dog/s in the car until told otherwise. We also ask you to please NOT call your dog if you have come to collect.
Fee's
All fees are charged by 'nights' e.g. Friday - Monday is 3 nights.
If you collect your dog before 12pm on the day of departure you will NOT get charged an extra night. Any collections made after 12pm will be charged for an extra night. Our days start at 12pm and run to 12pm the following day. Please see our opening times as we do not offer afternoon collections or drop offs.
Next night's fee will automatically be added to your final invoice or if the invoice has already been paid in full, this fee must be paid on the collection of your dog.
If you need to/decide to collect your dog earlier than expected you will still be liable for the full balance of the dates that you have booked. We will not release your dog unless payment has been made in full.
If you need to cancel your booking with us we ask for 1 weeks notice (7 days) If less than 7 days notice is given for cancellation of your booking you will be liable to pay the outstanding balance in full (any outstanding balances must be paid within 7 days of cancellation.)
Arrival's & Departure's
Drop off and collections can be made during our opening hours. You will need to book a time slot via our website . This is for both dropping off and collecting your dog. Please be aware that you will have to make book two separate time slots for dropping off and collection. All instructions can be found on our website.
Please see our website for our opening hours. NO drop off or collections can be made without a time slot previously booked. We ask that all time slots are booked at least 48 hours notice.
If you do get delayed for whatever reason please update us asap.
Deposit's
A deposit is required to secure your booking with us. We require a 50% deposit of your booking cost. e.g. Your booking total is £360 a deposit of £180 will be required to secure your booking.
We ask for your deposit to be paid within 7 days of making your booking. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings to accommodate another dog if no deposit is paid at least 2 weeks in advance to any bookings. Deposits made secure your booking.
Deposits are non refundable BUT transferable to any future bookings within a 3 month period from date of cancellation date.
If you need to cancel your booking with us we ask for 1 weeks notice (7 days) If less than 7 days notice is given for cancellation of your booking you will be liable to pay the outstanding balance in full.
If less than 1 weeks (7 days) notice is given for cancellation of booking your deposit (including sleepover's that are to be paid in full) will be lost and is not transferable to any other bookings with us. (any outstanding balances must be paid within 7 days of cancellation.)
Please note that any deposits transferred are only valid for 1 transfer ONLY.
Payment's
The payment for boarding and other services may include card, cash or bank transfer. ( we do not accept cheque's or American express)
Vaccination's
All dogs accepted for boarding must be accompanied by a current Vaccination Certificate. This must display that your dog is fully up to date with their vaccinations. We can only accept your dog if they are fully up to date with their vaccinations. Vaccinations must be veterinary approved. Titre testing is accepted. We also strongly recommended that your dog has a vaccination against kennel cough (Bordetella Bronchisptica) if vaccine is to be given, please have this done AT LEAST 14 DAYS prior to boarding with us. Kennel cough can occur in the most hygienic of establishments and causes great distress to the dog and you the owner, if unsure please consult your vet. Please can you also make sure that your dog has been both recently wormed and checked for fleas and treated as necessary, Dogs found to have flea infestation or worms will be treated and you the owner will incur the cost, which will be added to your bill.
Vet Fee's
Unfortunately, like us dogs can become sick at any time, if this is the case we will always consult a vet for advise, if the need for a trip to the vets is required a min fee of £20 (our vets or your vet within a 15 mile radius of us ) will be added to your invoice for each trip, (there & back is 1 trip ) this is to cover the cost of fuel and time . If Crabbs Green Farm are liable for your dogs sickness or injury as a direct result of our negligence , vet fees will be covered by our own insurance . If you have given permission for your dog to go ‘off lead’ and they injure themselves while out, I.E cuts or eaten something, you will be liable if your dog is treated by our vet and cost added to your final invoice, or if invoice been paid in full before or on arrival you agree to pay us the cost of vet bill on departure, or if your vet treated your dog you will be invoiced by them directly.
Belonging's
We supply bedding but if you wish to bring your dogs own bedding from home, that’s fine but unfortunately we cannot guarantee it’s safe return along with any toys that might accompany your dog. All belongings left on the premises are left entirely at the clients risk. Any bedding and sleeping beds must be clean and parasite free condition.
Dog's From The Same Family Sharing
Discount will be given for every additional dog sharing a kennel at the current rate reducing by £5.00 per dog, Friends or family’s dogs will only be able to share on the decision of Crabbs Green Farm Boarding Kennels.
Every care will be given to the welfare and safety of all dogs boarded, but all pets are boarded entirely at the clients risk. If your pet passes away whilst in our care, we will do our utmost to have the body frozen so that you can make any decisions on your return, as to cremation, burial and post post-mortems. We will treat your dog with the care and attention they deserve, Unfortunately, the cost if any will be added to your bill.
If I fail to collect my dog/s within 14 days of due collection, I give the owner of the above business the authority to re-home my dog/s without further reference to me, provided that I have not made arrangements over the telephone or in writing for the boarding period to be extended. Late collection penalty of a extra £30 per day will be added to your final bill, please collect your dog/s on the agreed day and within our opening times.
By booking with us you have chosen to abide by these terms and conditions on every occasion my dog/s is/are boarded on these premises. I consent that whenever necessary I agree to my dog/s being examined and treated by a veterinary surgeon.
