Fees

Fees are assessed based on the number of 'nights' reserved; for example, a stay from Friday to Monday is considered 3 nights. If you decide to collect your dog earlier than scheduled, you will still be accountable for the complete payment for the dates you have booked. Your dog will not be released until full payment is made. To cancel your booking, we request a notice of one week (7 days). If cancellation occurs with less than 7 days' notice, you will be required to pay the entire outstanding balance, which must be cleared within 7 days following the cancellation.

Arrivals & Departures
All visitors must report to reception immediately upon arrival and must not proceed beyond reception unless authorised and accompanied by a member of staff. Drop-off and collection are restricted to our opening hours. To ensure a seamless experience, please book a time slot via our website or inform us through text message or WhatsApp about your dog’s expected arrival or departure time. It is important to reserve two different time slots for drop-off and collection on the website. You can find all instructions on our website.

Reservation Deposits

To confirm your booking with us, a reservation deposit is necessary. We require a 50% deposit of the total booking cost. For example, if your total booking comes to £360, a reservation deposit of £180 will be needed to finalize your reservation.
We kindly ask that you pay the reservation deposit within 7 days of making your booking. You will receive an email related to your reservation deposit, and we ask that you ensure all dates are accurate during this process. Please note that we may cancel any reservations to allow for another dog if the deposit is not received at least 2 weeks before the booking date or at the time of reservation, particularly for shorter stays. Full payment is required for all sleepover bookings (1 night).
Reservation deposits secure your booking but are non-refundable; however, they can be transferred to any future reservations within a 3-month timeframe from the cancellation date. This policy also applies in cases of medical emergencies affecting your dog before their stay.
Should you need to cancel your reservation, we require at least 1 week's notice (7 days).
Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice will result in you being responsible for the total outstanding balance. If you notify us of a cancellation with less than 7 days' notice, you will forfeit your reservation deposit (including the total amount for sleepovers) and it will not be transferable to other bookings.
Any outstanding balances are due within 7 days of cancellation.
Please be aware that transferred reservation deposits are valid for only one transfer.

In the event that your dog passes away prior to their upcoming stay, please be advised that the reservation deposit is non-refundable. You do have the option to transfer this deposit to a friend or family member for their reservation, which will be valid for three months from the cancellation date. If you prefer to keep the credit for your own future use, it will be valid for one year from the cancellation date. We can also assist with providing the necessary documentation for insurance claims.

Payments

You can complete your payment for reservation deposits and outstanding balances through card, cash, or bank transfer. Please be advised that cheques and American Express are not accepted.

Vaccinations

All dogs scheduled for boarding must present a current Vaccination Certificate, confirming that they are fully up to date with their vaccinations. We can only accept dogs that meet this requirement, and all vaccinations must be approved by a veterinarian. Titre testing is also acceptable. Puppies are welcome once they have completed their vaccination course, including the necessary clearance period. While the kennel cough vaccination is not mandatory, we strongly recommend that your dog receives the Bordetella Bronchiseptica vaccine at least 14 days before boarding. Kennel cough can affect even the cleanest facilities and any location where dogs congregate, such as parks and dog shows. This illness can cause significant distress for both the dog and the owner, so please consult your veterinarian if you have any concerns. Additionally, ensure that your dog has been recently treated for worms and checked for fleas; any dog found with a flea infestation or worms will be treated at your expense, which will be added to your bill.

Vet Fees

Dogs, like humans, can fall ill unexpectedly. In such instances, we will always seek veterinary advice. If a visit to the vet is necessary, a minimum fee of £20 will be added to your invoice for each trip (to any vet within a 15-mile radius, including our own). This fee covers fuel and time expenses. Should Crabbs Green Farm be found liable for your dog's illness or injury due to our negligence, we will cover the veterinary costs through our insurance. However, if you have authorized your dog to be off-lead and they sustain injuries, such as cuts or abrasions, or ingest something harmful, this situation is beyond our control. You will be responsible for any treatment costs incurred at our vet, which will be added to your final invoice. If the invoice has been settled prior to your arrival, you agree to pay the vet bill upon departure. Alternatively, if your own vet treats your dog, you will receive a direct invoice from them.

Belongings

We are happy to supply bedding for your dog; however, if you decide to bring your own from home, that is allowed. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee the safe return of any items, including toys, that may accompany your dog. All personal belongings left on the premises are at the client's risk. Additionally, any bedding or sleeping items must be appropriate for their intended use, free of sharp edges, and in a parasite-free state.

Dogs From The Same Family Sharing

A discount will be applied for each additional dog sharing a kennel, with the rate decreasing by £5.00 per dog. Dogs belonging to friends or family that do not typically reside together may only share a kennel upon the approval of Crabbs Green Farm Boarding Kennels, following a discussion to ensure compatibility and prevent any potential conflicts. If, for any reason, we determine that the dogs must be separated for their safety and well-being, an additional charge will apply for the use of another kennel.

Promotional/Seasonal Offers

To take advantage of any offers we may provide, a voucher or code must be presented to us in person. Each customer is limited to one kennel. If a customer books multiple kennels, the voucher will apply only to the least expensive booking (typically for one dog). The offer is valid only for the duration specified on the voucher or advertisement and cannot be transferred to other bookings, even within the promotional period. Each customer may utilize the offer only once.

Privacy
We may periodically photograph and film our guests for sharing on our website and social media platforms. Should you wish to opt out of having your pet featured, please let us know at the time of your booking.
Every effort will be made to ensure the welfare and safety of all boarded dogs; however, all pets are boarded at the owner's risk. In the unfortunate event that your pet passes away while in our care, we will contact you or your designated emergency contact as soon as possible. We will strive to preserve the body in a frozen state to allow you to make decisions regarding cremation, burial, or post-mortem examinations upon your return. We are committed to providing your dog with the care and attention they deserve, but any associated costs will be added to your final bill. If you do not collect your dog(s) within 14 days of the scheduled pickup date, you authorize the owner of this business to re-home your dog(s) without further consultation, unless you have made prior arrangements with us via phone, text, email, or in writing to extend the boarding period or have a family member or friend collect your dog(s). A late collection fee of £30 per day will be added to your final bill, so please ensure you collect your dog(s) on the agreed date and within our operating hours. By making a booking with us, you agree to adhere to this contract and accept these terms and conditions for each occasion your dog(s) is/are boarded at our facility. You also consent to your dog(s) being examined and treated by a veterinary surgeon when necessary.

We have the authority to change our terms and conditions at any time, so we suggest that you review them periodically for any updates.
Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your dog(s).
